Alternate Version
After having released the "I Am Not A Robot" on the 24th June in 2009, the song was re-released in 2010 with a new video, released on 14th April 2010. This version would also have fun and interesting to re-create, but we would have needed to make the Hollywood "Walk of Fame". In some ways, it could have been easier to re-create, but it could also have been to static for the requirements of the task.

Animated Storyboard
We made this storyboard by drawing each scene on to a whiteboard and then taking a picture of it via Photobooth on the Mac. Thereafter, we put each picture in sequence in iMovie to create a mini film. Finally, we uploaded the final product on to YouTube for your viewing pleasure.

Modifications to be made
In the original video, Marina is covered in black oil mixed with glitter. Due to a limited budget and health issues, we have decided to use blue body paint mixed with glitter instead. Marina also commented to BBC Radio 1 that the oil reacted badly to her skin and took forty minutes to remove. We understand the the effect may not be exactly the same, but we are sure it will reflect the tone of the music video nonetheless. Also, we are unsure about the creation of the background Marina is lying on. We may simply use a projector or create the background by hand.
In addition, Marina uses green rhinestones to decorate her eyes, which we could not find. We have therefore replaced them with blue ones.

Music Video Re-Creation
This is the music video we have decided to re-create, Marina & The Diamonds' I Am Not A Robot. We have chosen this video due to its simplicity and wonderful use of colour. It's use of coloured paint to represent stages of her finding herself is intriguing and a universal issue. Furthermore, we both enjoy Marina's music and find her video's unusually creative.
